Privacy policy

This policy describes exactly what happens with personal data on this website. It applies under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for visitors from the EU/EEA, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Hosting and server log files

This website runs on our own server, rented from Hostinger International Ltd., Larnaca, Cyprus, and located in a data center in Frankfurt, Germany. When you open a page, the server automatically processes technical data that your browser sends: IP address, date and time of the request, the requested address (URL, including any parameters in it), and the browser identification (user agent). This is necessary to deliver the website and to keep it secure (for example against attacks). We do not use this data for analytics or to build profiles. Our server does not store access logs.

Until our move to this server is complete, the website is still delivered by Vercel Inc., San Francisco, USA. After the move, Vercel only forwards requests made to the former address (reelpeak-studios.vercel.app) to the new one. In both cases Vercel processes the same technical data and keeps it for a limited period under its own retention rules. Transfer to the USA: Vercel Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and additionally uses the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as a safeguard.

Legal basis (GDPR): Art. 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in a secure and working website.

4. Demo request form

If you send the form "Book a 20-minute demo", we process:

The form also contains a hidden, empty anti-spam field. If an automated program fills it in, nothing is sent. It is not used for tracking.

Purpose: to answer your request, arrange a demo and prepare a quote. Legal basis (GDPR): Art. 6(1)(b), steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

Recipient: the form data is stored in a database operated for us by Supabase Inc., USA, as our processor. The database is located in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Where Supabase can access the data from outside the EU/EEA or Switzerland, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in Supabase's data processing agreement apply.

Retention: until your request is resolved, at most 12 months. If a contract follows, we keep the data as long as needed for the contract and statutory retention periods.

5. Contact by e-mail

If you write to us by e-mail (for example to michael@msstrategies.ch or kontakt@msstrategies.ch) or we reply to your form request, we process your e-mail address, the content of the messages and any details you include. Our e-mail is hosted by Hostpoint AG, Switzerland. Retention and legal basis as in section 4.

6. The Summit Gold demo

The demo game (also shown embedded on the start page) runs entirely in your browser. Game results are calculated locally, nothing about your play is sent to us, and no cookies or local storage are used. The demo uses play money only.

For internal technical tests, the demo can be opened with a special address parameter that connects it to a test game server. Only in that case does the demo send round requests (a random demo player ID, bet size and demo currency) to that test server. Normal visitors never use this mode.

7. Cookies and local storage

This website does not set cookies and does not use local storage or similar technologies. There is therefore no cookie banner.

8. No automated decisions

We do not make automated individual decisions or carry out profiling.

9. Your rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive data you provided to us in a common format (data portability). To exercise these rights, write to kontakt@msstrategies.ch.

You can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB), in the EU/EEA with the data protection authority of your country of residence.
